With Recycled PLA you print easily and environmentally friendly!

FiloAlfa has developed a recycled filament line: Vita Nova.

Vita Nova filament is made from the leftovers, scrap and shortages of PLA filament. The material is ground, re-dried and extruded into an excellent recycled PLA.

This recycled PLA prints very easily, is environmentally friendly and costs only € 20.00 per 1KG spool. The color is gray / black and can differ per coil because we use different base material.

All filament residues from start and end work in extrusion, rejected batches and reels are reused. This filament "waste" is then shredded, dried and re-extruded. The filament gets a new life as VITA NOVA filament.

This reuse has enormous positive consequences for producer, consumer and the climate. Vita Nova filament has a very low ecological footprint for an identical product.

VITA NOVA filaments have identical mechanical and chemical properties as the filaments made from "virgin" material. Only the color differs from batch to batch due to the mixing of all colors from gray to black.
