Description
ASA is a functional polymer for prototypes and outdoor use
ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) has good mechanical properties and is dimensionally stable; that is why ASA is extremely suitable for the production of your first functional sample.
The biggest advantage of ASA is the good resistance to weather influences and has good shape retention and hardly weathering. In addition, ASA has an excellent lightfastness and is hardly yellowed.
Data sheet Fillamentum ASA 3D filament
We recommend the following settings *:
Nozzle temperature: 250 - 255 ° C
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Heated bed: 80 - 90 ° C
Fan: +/- 10%> ASA does not like a windy environment!* The settings may differ slightly per printer. We therefore advise you to experiment with ASA until you have found the exact settings for your printer. Plasticz is not responsible for the use of ASA by the operator of the 3D printer / consumer.
